High-Level National Delegation Visits Alixir Group Facilities in Serbia to Enhance Cooperation in Chemical IndustriesAs part of efforts to strengthen international partnerships and develop industries related to phosphates and fertilizers, a joint delegation from the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Economy and Industry conducted an official visit to the facilities of Alixir Group in the Republic of Serbia. The delegation was headed by Mr. Siraj Al-Hariri, Director General of the General Organization of Geology and Mineral Resources.The visit aimed to review the latest technologies used in fertilizer production and downstream chemical industries, particularly phosphoric acid production lines, which are considered among the most advanced in Europe. It also sought to explore prospects for technical and institutional cooperation and the transfer of expertise.The delegation included Eng. Osama Mahmoud, Director General of the General Company for Phosphates and Mines; Dr. Abdul-Muati Jumaa, Director General of the General Organization for Chemical Industries; as well as Mr. Mustafa Al-Ali, Director of the Fertilizer Plant, and Mr. Mowaffaq Hassan Farah, Director of the Phosphate Plant.This visit comes within the framework of supporting the capacities of the national chemical sector and developing local industries related to phosphates and fertilizers, contributing to increasing the added value of national resources and adopting best global industrial practices.
