Hama Water Company Launches New Vital Projects in Mahardeh District to Improve Water Supply for More Than 12,000 Residents

Hama Water Company, in cooperation with partner organizations, has launched a package of projects to rehabilitate drinking water sources and networks in the villages of Mahardeh District, improving services for more than 12,000 returning residents.

Technical teams have begun replacing the pumping network in Al-Arbaeen village with new polyethylene pipelines extending to consumers’ connections, in addition to installing a solar power system comprising 78 panels, each with a capacity of 720 watts, to ensure the operation of the station.

In Hasraya, Al-Jalma, and Kafrhood, wells are being rehabilitated by equipping them with mechanical and electrical systems and installing solar power systems comprising more than 200 panels of varying capacities. These measures will improve operational efficiency and reduce reliance on conventional energy sources.

These projects are part of the Ministry of Energy’s efforts to strengthen infrastructure and enhance the readiness of water sources in areas witnessing the return of residents.
