
800 Solar-Powered Streetlights Installed in Various Neighborhoods of Deir ez-Zor
A project to install 800 solar-powered streetlights in several neighborhoods of Deir ez-Zor has been completed. These neighborhoods include Al-Huwayqa, Al-Rashidiyah, Sheikh Yassin, the main street, the municipal villas, Al-Dahia (Forty Street), Al-Jubaila, Al-Qusour, Harabish (Old Airport), Al-Sina'a, and Al-Ardi. The project was supported by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
This project aims to improve public services and enhance public safety. Implementation began in the most affected neighborhoods and then expanded to include more populated areas, contributing to a safer environment and improving the city's overall appearance.
The project was implemented by ADRA, under the supervision of the Deir ez-Zor General Electricity Company, as part of efforts to support stability and improve the daily lives of residents.
