Electricity restored to Al-Taman'ah following the activation of two new transformer stations after a 14-year outage

The Syrian Electricity Company has restored power to the Al-Tamana'a sub-district in the Idlib countryside after an outage lasting more than fourteen years. This follows the commissioning of two overhead transformer stations as part of efforts to revitalize areas devastated by the war, destruction, and displacement inflicted upon the local population by the defunct regime.
Technical crews completed the setup of the "Al-Safa" line station by installing a 200 kVA transformer and the "Grand Mosque" station with a 400 kVA transformer, while also finalizing work on the medium-voltage line supplying both stations.
With these facilities now operational, electricity is gradually returning to Al-Tamana'a after an absence of over a decade, thereby enhancing grid stability and supporting the restoration of essential services to the area.
The Ministry of Energy extends its gratitude to the technical and administrative staff of the Idlib Electricity Company for their efforts in reactivating the electrical infrastructure in Al-Tamana'a, acknowledging the tireless work that enabled the restoration of service after years of interruption.
