Initial-phase works have commenced at the project sites designated for new power generation plants in Deir ez-Zor and rural Aleppo. Preparations are underway to equip the sites with technical and administrative offices that will accommodate the engineering and technical teams of UCC, the company responsible for implementing the contracts signed with the Ministry of Energy.
With this progress, work is now underway at all four sites agreed upon with UCC under the national power generation development program.
These activities are part of the agreement signed between the Ministry of Energy and UCC Holding to develop power generation plants with a total capacity of 4,000 MW, in addition to 1,000 MW of solar energy projects to be deployed across various regions of Syria.
